Thorne is a small company that builds and runs local home-service brands in the Los Angeles area, and connects the people who call them with local businesses that do the work.
Why we started
Finding someone for a home job usually means scrolling past ads and directory pages that all look alike. We wanted each kind of work in each neighborhood to have one clear local name with a real phone number, so a homeowner can call and get an answer.
What we do, and what we don't
We build the brand websites, keep the facts on them current and run their phone lines. We pick the local business that takes each brand's calls. We don't do the construction or repair work, we don't hold a contractor's license, and we never bill homeowners.
The business you hire quotes the job, agrees the price with you, does the work and stands behind it under its own license.
Who we are
Thorne Home Services is a sole proprietorship based in Malibu, California. Its owner also runs a local marketing business for home-service companies, which is how we learned what homeowners need from a website before they pick up the phone.
